Krusevo

Krusevo is one of the famous competition spots for paragliders and hanggliders in the Balkan countries. Sure we want to see this place and fly as possible. Arriving late and finding a great place just 10 km before the city. The forecast for flying especially the wind direction doesn’t look as good and no thermal development at all. Visiting Krusevo is also nice, the little center of the village up in the mountains with a memorial about the independence war of Macedonia. One of the most important battles were placed in Krusevo, People were defending the city with “selfmade” wapens and stones. The memorial is an impressive building with fantastic windows…. We really want to fly from this famous launch but no luck with the wind… so there was only groundhandling and soaring on the other side of the valley and in Treskavec, where we spent two nights in a fantastic place with a great view and a special effect of the sky. Wau Hugo, who built with us the truck, traveling with his family through the Balcan, came around. Great to see them. We spent such nice time together with Sabine, Hugo, Lena and Alex and Koos and Daphne.
