Connecting RuuviTag Pro Sensor to our Victron Cerbo GX was easy. Just go to the bluetooth settings in the Cerbo via the Touch 50 or Touch 70 screen and the sensors are seen automatically.
From now on we can check the inside and outside temperature in the cabin but also from home via the VRM. We also set an alarm because we rather do not want it to freeze in the cabin as this could damage our water system. This is especially important when long parking the truck in winter.
The only downsize is that the sensors ate mounted with normal screws. So to change the cr2032 batteries you need to unscrew, but one sensor is hanging outside under our cabin and I do not want to lose the sensor.
So we made special mounting plates you can screw somewhere on which you mount the Ruuvi sensor with stainless steel bolts. This you can do as often as you want without damaging the thread like you would do with screws.
Downside is that there is not a nice screen to show the water, battery level and temperature other than via the screen above.
Bought the Ruuvi’s at Combinoord and the mountingplate is made by Nevelink.
